Naked Penalties for The Observer.

This is an Illustration I finished off in double-quick time on Friday night for Paul Wilson's Football column which appears in today's Observer. Wilson is discussing the comments made earlier in the week by FIFA President Sepp Blatter. Blatter believes that penalties are no way to decide a world cup final and he has been suggesting a few ideas such as reducing the number of players left on the pitch to make scoring a winning goal easier. Wilson offers an alternative solution : Naked penalty shootouts. The reasoning being that players will do anything to avoid penalties if they have to strip off!
Some Stuff coming up : I've adopted the Bloodhound for my entry to the Wurstminster Dogshow which takes place in Portland, Oregon in Febuary 2007. It seems a fair way off yet but I have to get my dog to Jason by December 1st so I will be starting on that soon. Check out the The Wurst Gallery for more cool projects including the excellent Vintage Vandals.
Also in the pipeline, I shall be doing something for the If you could do anything tomorrow - What would it be? Project which looks like lots of fun

Linzie. That quip is quite brilliant. I can't see that being beaten for the next thousand years. Simply stunning.
Hi Chichi. It changed itself! (one of 5 images displays when you load the page).. I used the latest internet technology to achieve this. I'm pleased to see that it blew your mind. Hurrah!
hahah fun piece.
Thats a great one Allan! I'm doing the dog show as well, but my dog is a rather boring one (not many left when I was choosing) so I'm going to have to find some inspiration from somewhere. It will be good to get the paints out again though.
Looking forward to seeing your dog frances! I'm screenprinting and collaging mine i think!
